Monday 25th January - Adverbs of Certainty
Task for Monday
- Watch and listen carefully to Mr Watson’s video
- Reread Revision Slides to remind you of the key points from the lesson.
- Now look at True or False? What do you think?
- Read the Ostrich Answers to see what other children thought. How do the adverbs of certainty help us to talk about things we are not certain about?
- Now read What do You Think? For each statement, write a sentence or two on a piece of paper using adverbs of certainty (like the examples from Lucy, Anton and Alik).
- Reread your sentences and underline the adverbs of certainty. If you have used the same few, try swapping some using the Adverbs of Certainty List.
- Share your work with your teacher.
