One of the main resources that we would encourage you to check out is https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons ,which offers daily lessons for all year groups in a variety of subjects!

Lots of free resources to support with maths and computing in Key Stage 1 and 2!

For now, we’ve moved from a face-to-face learning programme to a digital one and will be sharing activities that encourage children to watch, read, do, play and create as they learn about our canals and rivers from home – bringing the magic of our waterways to you!

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing learning resource bundles on a range of topics through our social media pages. Follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook for activities and ideas to keep children engaged in learning and active whilst at home.

Always happy to help, the White Rose Maths Team have prepared a series of five maths lessons for each year group from Reception to Year 8!  They will be adding five more each week for the next few weeks. Every lesson comes with a short video showing you clearly and simply how to help your child to complete the activity successfully. The activity can then be completed on paper or by downloading the worksheet!

Good news, all the Workbooks and Textbooks in the bestselling Abacus series are now available for free as ebooks on our ActiveLearn platform for the duration of school closures.
No sign up or login is required.Once a responsible adult has accepted the terms and conditions on a child's behalf they can access all the books for their year.

You now have access to hundreds of book banded e-books and self marking quizzes. It is a fantastic resource which should help you support your child with their reading. If you are unsure where to start your child please email me at lindsey.caplan@salford.gov.uk or your child's classteacher and we will be happy to help!
