Classifying and Identifying Leaves
Either collect some leaves from your garden or look at the examples that are in the folder.
Can you group them in any way (long, spiky, rounded, short, individual leaves on one stem, one large leaf on one stem)? Use the Leaf Character table to record your findings.
When you have finished, use the leaves to make art with! See the examples in the folder.

Geography - Animals and Their Habitats
Read the information sheets about some of the animals of the world. On the world map, draw each animal where it lives. Then, write a paragraph on each explaining why they live there. What food do they need? What temperature are they adapted for? Why is their habitat the best for them?
Choose one of your own to research and put it on the map.
