Task for Day 4
- Watch and listen carefully to Mrs Freer’s video.
- Look at the Fast Facts Do you recognise this box from the other pages you have seen in True or False? by Dorling Kindersley? Think about the format. How does it grab your attention? What is ‘fast’ about the facts?
- Today you will be writing your own fast facts box, using your research from Task for Day 3. Plan this in draft before creating a neat version.
- Choose an interesting fact from your research; think of an attention-grabbing headline, write clear explanatory sentences and think about the graphics that could be added. Do this with two other facts.
- Now present this box on a new piece of paper with careful handwriting and spelling – you want your reference text to feel reliable.
- Create two fast facts for the topics you researched from Task 3 about Ancient Greece.
- Add suitable images or design features by drawing or printing.
- Share your work with your teacher.
