Where there is a Powerpoint Presentation or mention of a worksheet, these can be accessed by scrolling down to the relevant subject. Where there are links to other websites, these can be accessed by clicking on the link on the timetable ONCE YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED IT. The timetable will also be sent out via email. Zoom Online Meeting – Tuesday at 11.00am.  This is a chance to find out about the work planned for that week and have a catch-up with your teachers.  If you have any news or any work that you’d like to share then please have it ready! 

Zoom Drop-in – Thursday at 10.00am.  This is a chance for parents or children to drop in, have a chat and ask any questions about this week's work.

Watch Mrs Musgrove write some sentences.  See if you can copy them as she writes them.

Over the next two days you are going to re-write the sentences that Mr Whoops has written… He has made lots of mistakes…See if you can put all of the capital letters and full stops in the correct place and then check some of his spellings.

Challenge:  Read the Question Mark or Full Stop worksheet.  Try to choose what should go at the end of each sentence.  You can either copy the sentences from the screen or print out and complete the worksheet.

With an adult, make a healthy meal or salad.

Use the right tools to peel, grate and chop.  The PowerPoint shows different cutting skills. 
Talk about a balanced diet.
Understand that food comes from plants and animals.

R.E - Tuesday 09/02

P.E. Challenges - Have a go at one of these each day, they can be done in any order!

Extra Activities

  • Access the Reading Planet website. Try to read 2 books each week and complete the quiz.  Please contact your class teacher if you need more books to be allocated.
  • Access the Numbots website.
  • Practise number and letter formation.
  • Try a Geocaching walk around Irlam – This comes highly recommended from a Yr1 parent. You can download the app onto your phone.
  • Practice throwing and catching a ball.

Please take part in activities which are good for your family’s mental health.  This could be exercise or any activity that makes you happy.   It is really important that you look after yourselves and seek support if you need it.
